Plastic Surgery to Look Like Ivanka Trump Is Going to Be a Thing Soon

Ivanka Trump

Ivanka Trump has been in the social spotlight since the day she was born. In fact, many people can remember her when she was just a child. Her father, president-elect Donald Trump, has enjoyed a lifetime of success in several business, media, and now political endeavors. It comes as no surprise that women are already starting to get plastic surgery to look just like her.

A Nightline Report

Recently, the television show Nightline featured two women – Tiffany Taylor, age 33, and Jenny Stuart, age 36 – who are spending tens of thousands of dollars to look just like the famed Ivanka Trump. Tiffany claims that Ivanka is her idol, and she’s had numerous surgeries to emulate her physical appearance. They include breast augmentation, cheek injections, eyelifts, liposuction, and rhinoplasty. Jenny had liposuction, a buttock lift, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, and rounds of facial fillers all against the wishes of her family.

Is This Common?

According to several prominent plastic surgeons, it isn’t uncommon for patients to come to their doctors and ask to look like their favorite celebrities. Social media is prevalent in today’s society, and these patients see images of their idols and other famous people every single day. As they continue to view them, they start to feel strongly about certain features. They may covet a celebrity’s eye shape or nose size, and they’re willing to go through surgery to obtain it for themselves. Tiffany Taylor certainly did, and she looks remarkably like Ivanka Trump today. She claims she sees perfection when she looks in the mirror.

The Right Expectations

Plastic surgery is elective, which means it isn’t medically necessary. Like any form of surgery or procedure, there are always some risks to consider – no matter how slight the chances might be. Plastic surgeons should work hard to set the right expectations with their patients. The goal of surgery should be to enhance a patient’s existing features by modifying another; not to modify the entire patient as a whole. Patients need to understand the limitations and risks, and surgeons should never make promises they can’t keep.

Is It Realistic?

Whether or not the desire to look like a celebrity, including Ivanka Trump, is realistic depends on a few different things. For example, if a woman who wants a breast augmentation comes in with a photograph of a celebrity she wants to mimic, there’s a very good chance that her surgeon can make her breasts look much like those in the photo. For facial surgeries, though, things get a little more complicated and that is where special training, skill and knowledge come into play. Only a few facial plastic surgeons nowadays have the capability to modify the bone and cartilage contour of the face to give it a more feminine and attractive appearance.

The number of people who want to look like Ivanka Trump is climbing, and this means that the number of plastic surgeries designed to provide that appearance is on the rise, too. However, this isn’t a new trend; people have been undergoing surgeries to look like celebrities for decades. The only trend that changes is the celebrity they want to look like.
