People magazine recently sat down with the cast of Vanderpump Rules, a reality TV series that airs on Bravo, to discuss their love of Botox and even plastic surgery. The cast seems to be huge fans, and they aren’t afraid to discuss it, either. Stassi Schroeder, Jax Taylor, and Scheana Marie were all open and honest.
Jax and His Plastic Surgeries
Jax Taylor, heartthrob and fashion extraordinaire, is certainly not ashamed to talk about the work he’s had done. In the interview, he said, “I embrace it.” He has had three nose jobs and claims to be a huge fan who will talk about it with anyone who cares to listen. By looking at Jax, you’d never really know he’d been under the knife that many times. This is a complement to his surgeon, though, who has managed to make Jax happy with gorgeous, masculine, yet completely natural features. He joked with Stassi about chin implants and matching breast reductions, too.
Scheana’s Reluctance for Surgery, but Love of Botox
Scheana, on the other hand, is the only one of the three who has yet to have any surgeries whatsoever. Instead, she opts for Botox injections, and claims she has since the very first season. She says that people think she’s had a lot of work done on her face to remain so young, but she claims her youthfulness is the result of Botox injections – and her desire to avoid forehead wrinkles while on camera. Scheana doesn’t like her face to move, except for when she smiles, so she gets her Botox regularly – about every 10 to 12 weeks, she says.
How Stassi Feels about Botox
Stassi is almost the opposite of Scheana when it comes to her face and her Botox routine. She is afraid of an expressionless face, especially while on camera, so she limits her Botox to once per year during the times she isn’t filming. She claims this helps her retain the youthful look she wants while still allowing her the freedom to express any emotion she feels through her facial expressions.
Jax and Botox
Jax spoke only briefly about his thoughts on Botox, but according to Scheana, he’s “a monster” when it comes to his injections. He openly admitted to going to his doctor regularly (perhaps even more often than Scheana herself) and even provided pictures of himself during one of his Botox sessions. This was followed by a brief discussion of Jax’s sweater obsession, and he claims he buys all the chunky sweaters he can find with each trip to H&M.
Botox is popular with many stars, but the cast of Vanderpump Rules is one of the few to be completely open and honest about their personal thoughts and experiences with it. They’re even happy to discuss their plastic surgeries with fans, which is something that is becoming the norm with younger generations. They aren’t ashamed to look their best, even if it takes Botox and plastic surgery to achieve the looks they want.
