Fat Transfer – Hand Rejuvenation
One of the most common features of aging is the loss of fat in the back of the hands, which can create a skeletal appearance. The remedy for this is a fat transfer from another area of the body. Using fat harvesting techniques, fat tissue is removed from the abdomen, hips or jowls and re-inserted into the hands. A fat transfer not only slims certain parts of the body, but also eliminates the risk of tissue rejection. This procedure can be performed under local anesthesia.
To learn if you are a candidate for a fat transfer, please schedule a consultation at the Jacobson and Mardirossian Plastic Surgery Center for Excellence website or call (561) 624-0900.
